TERMS OF SERVICE

This Agreement governs the terms and conditions of the use of Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa  (“Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa LLC”) services and is between you (“Customer”), as an authorized user of such services, and Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa. By submitting a Request for Service, you confirm receipt of and acceptance of this Agreement.

1. SERVICE

 

Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa provides mobile trash, recycle, and compost can cleaning and power washing services for residential and commercial properties.

 

 

2. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITES

 

For Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa to provide its services, the Customer is to abide by the CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES. Failure to comply may result in service interruption and/or additional service fees as outlined below.

Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa provides SAME DAY service (Friday pick up only) and NEXT DAY service (Monday-Thursday).

·       SAME DAY SERVICE: The Customer is responsible for placing cans curbside for trash pickup on collection day. Cans should remain empty and left curbside the SAME DAY until 6PM to be cleaned. No trash or recycle should be placed in the cans until they have been cleaned. Cans with trash will NOT be cleaned, clients will still be charged for visit UNLESS your can is full due to your sanitation company not emptying your can.

·       NEXT DAY SERVICE: The Customer is responsible for placing cans curbside for pickup on trash collection day. Cans should remain empty and left curbside the NEXT DAY until 5PM to be cleaned. If any trash or recycle is placed in the cans we will NOT clean the can. All NEXT DAY service starts at 6am, with that being said most bins are cleaned before Noon.

 

Stickers/Tags will be placed on the cans being cleaned during the first visit or Serial Numbers for each bins will be noted for each account.The Customer may request to pay for additional cans by contacting Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa. Cans may NOT be rotated or substituted at any time. Cans may be placed under different cleaning frequencies (Example: Trash cleaned monthly, recycling cleaned quarterly).  

 

GATED COMMUNITY ACCESS

The Customer is responsible for notifying the community’s guard house or for providing a gate code to Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa to access the gated community. If the technician is not able to gain access on the scheduled service date, the technician will continue his/her route and will not clean the Customer’s cans. Payment will not be refunded in the event of a missed service due to access issues. It is the Customer’s responsibility to request a rescheduled cleaning and pay a $10.00 additional service visit fee. Once the $10.00 additional service visit fee has been paid, Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa will make every effort to service the Customer’s cans on the next scheduled service visit to the area if that visit is determined to be the next scheduled cleaning for the client the $10.00 rescheduling fee will be credited to the clients account for the next cleaning.  

 

AVAILABILITY

 

All trash, recycle, and compost cans must be available for servicing on the scheduled service date. If cans are not available, the technician will continue his/her route and will not clean the Customer’s cans. Payment will not be refunded in the event of a missed service due to unavailable cans. The Customer is responsible to place all cans out on the scheduled service date. Any missing cans will be cleaned the next scheduled service visit.

 

RESCHEDULING

 

Rescheduling a missed service due to unavailable cans is at the discretion of Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa. It is the Customer’s responsibility to request a rescheduled cleaning and to pay a $10.00 additional service visit fee. Once the $10.00 additional service visit fee has been paid, Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa will make every effort to service the Customer’s cans on the next scheduled service visit to the area. 

 

ABSENT/OUT OF TOWN/Skipping A Cleaning

 

If the Customer knows he/she will not be available to put cans out for a scheduled cleaning, it is his/her responsibility to contact Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa to notify them no later than 3:00PM the day before the scheduled service to avoid a charge for that cleaning . A skipped/missed cleaning will result in an additional fee in the amount of the next tier of cleaning frequency (Example: Client missing a monthly cleaning, next service will be charged for bi-monthly cleaning. Or quarterly client missing a cleaning will be charged as a Semi Annual cleaning for the next service date).

CONTENTS OF CANS

 

Trash, Recycle and Compost cans MUST be free of the following materials:

* Unbagged trash and recycle

* Unbagged animal waste and any other fecal matter

* Chemicals, paint, glue or other adhesives

* Other hazardous waste of any kind

* Building materials (plaster, stucco, concrete, etc.)

* Yard debris (leaves, branches, etc.)

* Oil, Grease, Paint Thinners, Gas 

 

Under no circumstances will Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa clean any cans containing human or animal waste!

CONDITION OF CANS

 

Trash, Recycle, and Compost cans should be in good working condition and not be in such disrepair that would cause damage to the cleaning equipment or prevent Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa from cleaning the cans properly. 

If Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa arrives to perform service and the above conditions are not met, the service will not be completed. Payment will not be refunded. It is the Customer’s responsibility to request a rescheduled cleaning and to pay a $10.00 additional service visit fee. Once the $10.00 additional service visit fee has been paid, Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa will make every effort to service the Customer’s cans on the next scheduled service visit to the area.

 

3. TRASH CAN CLEANING OF IOWA RESPONSIBILITIES

 

If Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa fails to provide its services on the scheduled date of service for a reason other than the Customer failing to meet its responsibilities in the paragraphs above, Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa will arrange for the service to be performed on the next possible area visit. If a rescheduled visit is not practical or possible, the Customer will receive a credit on a future invoice for the missed service.

 

In the event of inclement weather or equipment failure which prevents Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa from operating, a notice will be sent to the Customer and services will be rescheduled, if charged before service was completed you will be credited back that amount for your next cleaning.

 

4. CHARGES

 

Upon receiving a request for service, Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa will issue an on-boarding email to the Customer. When receiving the initial email, the Customer must follow the step-by-step instructions to add a card to your private account, this is for all recurring service plans (Monthly,  Quarterly, Semi Annual and Annual plans). Customers paying for a One Time Cleaning do not need to save a card to their account.  

 

AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS

 

Payment for recurring services are automatically processed the day before the services are scheduled to take place. Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa will charge the Customer’s debit or credit card on file for the appropriate service plan fee.  

 

DECLINED PAYMENTS

 

Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa will notify the Customer in the event payment is declined by sending an emailed and texted invoice. It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide alternate payment information and pay all amounts due upon request by Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa. Failure to do so may result in service interruption and possible suspension or termination of services. A card being declined is subject to 1.00/day fee until the bill is paid in full. It is the customer’s responsibility to update their payment information in their account.

 

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS

 

After one month of non-payment, an account will be deemed as delinquent. Delinquent accounts will be suspended, and no further services will be provided until the account has been brought back into good standing.

 

5. CANCELLATION OF SERVICE

 

Service may be cancelled at any time by sending an email to info@trashcancleaningiowa.com. If the cancellation request is received PRIOR to the next automatic payment, no additional charges or services will take place UNLESS you have not met the minimal amount of cleanings per plan (Monthly-10, Quarterly-4, Semi Annual-2, Annual- 2). If the cancellation request is received AFTER a payment has been processed, services will be provided that month and both charges and services will terminate thereafter.

 

CANCELLING AFTER FIRST CLEANING

 

If the Customer requests recurring service (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, Annual) and cancels after the first cleaning the Customer will be charged for a One Time cleaning minus any previously payment.

 

RELOCATION

 

If the customer relocates out of the TCCI service area, the customer must request cancellation by sending an email to Info@trashcancleaningiowa.com no less than 30 days prior to cancellation/moving date. If customer is moving within TCCI service area and wishes to continue service, Customer must notify us no less than 30 days to moving date. There is NO FEE to move service locations if the new location is receiving  new cans from their satiation company. If the new location has old cans, a service fee MAY be applied during first cleaning.  

 

SEASONAL RESIDENTS

 

Seasonal residents must notify Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa of the last service day by sending an email to Info@trashcancleaningiowa.com no less than 30 days prior to pausing of service and must meet all minimal cleaning requirements to prevent additional fees.

 

6. MODIFICATIONS

AGREEMENT

 

Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa reserves the right to amend this Agreement at any time by posting a revised version to www.Trashcancleaningiowa.com, and/or by emailing its Customers information regarding the amendment.

 

SERVICE

 

Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa reserves the right to modify delivery of service at its sole discretion at any time.

 

CHARGES

 

Trash Can Cleaning of Iowa reserves the right to change prices or implement new charges for use of its services at any time. Any changes in pricing will be communicated to the Customer by email prior to the changes going into effect. The Customer has the option to continue or discontinue the service at any time. Continued use of the service after such changes are communicated to the Customer by email or by no communication constitutes the Customer’s acceptance of the modified charges.

 

7. GOVERNING LAW

The terms and conditions contained in this document are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa. The Customer irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in each state or location.
